Discussion #1 Word Cloud
Question #1: Prensky (2010) mentions that “More and more young people are now deeply and permanently enhanced, connected to their peers and the world in ways no generation has ever been before” (p. 2). Reflecting on this statement and having read the introduction of our classroom text, how do you feel having to incorporate technology in your classroom? Whether you are currently using it, or not, how do you plan to implement it effectively and meaningfully into your daily classroom activities?
Question #2: After having read chapter 1, you have gotten an idea of what partnering is and how it works. Prensky (2010) states that “partnering is nothing new” (p. 15), and gives a list of great pedagogical tradition. Analyzing the list, have you used partnering before, if not, how can you possibly consider using it in the near future?
